We are seeking a senior execution leader to serve as Senior Manager, M&A Integration. This role is accountable for the successful integration of multiple acquisitions concurrently, with full ownership over portfolio-level planning, sequencing, risk management, and delivery outcomes. Operating at the portfolio level, the Senior Manager sets execution direction and makes critical decisions to keep integrations on track. This includes managing escalation paths, balancing timeline and resource trade-offs, and proactively mitigating delivery risks. The role leads a team of Integration Program Managers who oversee day-to-day execution across individual transactions. Positioned at the intersection of strategy and execution, this leader ensures acquisitions transition seamlessly across commercial, operational, systems, and people dimensions—particularly as deal volume and complexity increase. The role reports directly to the Head of M&A Integration. Why This Role: This is an opportunity to operate at the center of a high-velocity M&A environment, with direct ownership over how multiple acquisitions are integrated in parallel. You will have meaningful authority to shape execution strategy, influence portfolio-level outcomes, and build the operating discipline required to scale M&A effectively. You will partner closely with senior leaders across the organization and play a pivotal role in ensuring acquisitions integrate smoothly into the broader enterprise as transaction volume and scope expand. For leaders who thrive in complexity, make sound judgment calls amid ambiguity, and enjoy guiding program managers through high-stakes initiatives, this role offers significant ownership, visibility, and impact.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with M&A integration or post-merger execution.
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, operations leadership, M&A integration, implementations, or similar execution-focused roles in complex environments.
  • Prior experience managing projects end to end with an impact of $150M+.
  • Proven ability to own execution across multiple concurrent programs or workstreams.
  • Prior experience managing project or program managers, not just individual initiatives.
  • Prior experience presenting to and collaborating with C-level stakeholders and developing board-level updates
  • Previous experience independently leading cross-functional execution and enforcing standards without direct authority over all contributors.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP Certification
  • Familiarity with formal integration governance or program management office (PMO/IMO) models.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to surface risks and tradeoffs effectively.
  • Experience operating in systems-heavy environments (e.g., OMS, WMS, billing platforms).
  • Experience supporting operations and projects across multiple business units and geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Own portfolio-level integration delivery and decision-making by: Holding end-to-end accountability for delivery across a portfolio of concurrent acquisitions. Serving as the senior escalation point for integration risks, timeline changes, and execution tradeoffs across the portfolio. Making sequencing, prioritization, resourcing, and cross-functional tradeoff decisions to keep integrations aligned with capacity, readiness, and enterprise priorities. Maintaining a clear, continuous view of portfolio health and exercising authority to reset scope, sequencing, or timelines when delivery is at risk.
  • Lead and manage Program Managers, M&A by: Managing, coaching, and developing Program Managers, M&A responsible for day-to-day integration execution. Setting clear expectations for ownership, escalation judgment, and execution discipline. Reviewing integration plans, risks, and milestones to ensure consistent delivery rigor across the portfolio. Allocating and rebalancing Program Manager capacity as deal volume and concurrency change.
  • Set execution standards and governance by: Defining and enforcing portfolio-wide standards for integration planning, readiness validation, and delivery cadence. Establishing consistent governance mechanisms (reviews, checkpoints, escalation paths) applied across all acquisitions. Ensuring deviations from standards are intentional, documented, and approved at the appropriate level.
  • Oversee integration planning and transition readiness by: Partnering with Corporate Development during diligence and pre-close planning to identify integration risks, dependencies, and resourcing implications. Reviewing and validating Day 1, Day 30, and Day 90 integration plans prior to close. Ensuring post-close execution remains aligned with pre-close assumptions and approved integration plans.
