About The Position

Smile Doctors is seeking a Senior Manager, Field Support, to join their growing team. This role involves managing a team of Field Support Technicians spread across the US, overseeing the technical process of integrating newly affiliated practices, and leading technicians during transitions to ensure the implementation of group systems and standards. The Senior Manager will also oversee the technical planning for new office buildouts and work directly with clinic staff during project discovery phases. Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of IT Operations experience required
  • Five (5) years of IT management experience required
  • Intermediate knowledge project management required
  • Intermediate knowledge in technical office buildout required
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, growing, multi-location organization
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management, Business Management, or related discipline
  • Seven (7) years of IT Operations experience
  • Experience leading IT teams in a multi-location retail or healthcare environment
  • Experience deploying technology with remote support of technical assets

Responsibilities

  • Creates and manages detailed IT project plans
  • Coordinates scheduling for a team of technicians and 3rd parties
  • Guides senior level technicians in project and team management
  • Streamline processes for network migration and support
  • Solves problems and troubleshoots technical challenges
  • Communicate with team members to discover needs and facilitate smooth transitions onto standard IT systems
  • Works with cross functional teams and communicates with business leaders on scheduling and project timing
  • Drives success and growth of technical staff
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure deployment scalable and supportable solutions
