Summary: We are in search of a Senior Manager of Food & Beverage Marketing, responsible for the development and execution of annual plans that support our objective to grow the F&B business by bringing more guests into our owned outlets and enhancing their dining experience. This person will be expected to develop F&B marketing strategies for Vail Resorts and work in partnership with Resort Marketing and F&B teams to turn those strategies into actional plans including Branding, Go-To-Market initiatives, and Content Production.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of of marketing, project management, or brand management roles, with prior experience taking on progressively larger roles
  • Four-year college degree; emphasis in marketing or business preferred
  • Proven track record of ownership of work and complex business problems; must be a self-starter without the need for daily direction
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills; able to effectively lead through influence
  • Strong written, verbal, and PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Must be able to own and drive multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate cross-functionally within the organization
  • Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity
  • Passion for food and unique culinary experiences
  • No outdoor or ski experience necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food and beverage and/or hospitality industries
  • Strength in storytelling and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skillset
  • An MBA, Masters in marketing, or equivalent coursework/experience

Responsibilities

  • F&B Strategy & Brand Outlet Identity Develop, in partnership with the Sr. Director, annual F&B Marketing Strategy
  • Partner with F&B on outlet identity progress for integration into marketing plans and updated assets/content
  • Consistently integrate owned and operated outlet identities into appropriate marketing touchpoints
  • Own and manage the library for outlet identity assets including guidelines and logos
  • F&B Go-To-Market Planning and Execution Create F&B go-to-market plans and budget allocation to deliver on capture growth and outlet identity presence in alignment with broader F&B strategies and objectives
  • Lead program execution including:
  • Drive planning timelines and key milestones
  • Create go-to-market briefs
  • Effectively lead cross-functional stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives
  • Gather and share out data on key performance metrics
  • Identify, assess, and recommend in-season plan optimizations based on business results or market changes
  • Partner with Resort Marketing’s Visitation and Experience Directors on strategies for marketing-led F&B events
  • Create and manage the F&B Marketing budget to within +/-1%
  • Content Management Recommend strategy for and curate content, in partnership with Comms and Resort Marketing, to deploy across marketing touchpoints including resort websites, My Epic App and owned and operated communication channels such as newsletters, social media and in-resort signage
  • Manage content needs and renewals, helping to bring awareness to content gaps and providing strategic recommendations for new productions
  • Lead production briefs for new content
  • Lead season readiness F&B content updates across digital channels including Menus and Operational Hours on resort websites and My Epic App
  • Lead website audits to ensure content is up to date and provide recommendations for website innovation and optimizations
  • Ensure F&B signage needs are incorporated into the resort signage projects and processes
