About The Position

The Senior Manager will be a key member of Visa’s Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO), which is responsible for driving meaningful and sustainable change across various segments of Visa’s business. This role acts as a strategist, supporting the development and execution of initiatives aligned with Visa Leadership Team’s priorities across different segments and geographies. The position involves developing strategies to improve accountability, implementing enterprise-wide organizational improvements to unlock revenue, capacity, or investment funding, and identifying opportunities to enhance client experience and accelerate time-to-market. The Sr. Manager plays a critical role in advancing Visa’s growth, efficiency, and long-term strategy by operating within the ETO and partnering closely with senior leaders to shape, evaluate, and execute complex, cross-functional initiatives. This highly visible role requires strong strategic judgment, analytical rigor, and the ability to synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations, acting as a trusted thought partner who can navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and balance strategic thinking with disciplined execution to deliver measurable business impact. This is a hybrid position.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree
  • OR at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • OR 2 years of work experience with a PhD

  • Developed analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data models and authoring of complex presentations (i.e., deep familiarity with tools like PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a time-sensitive team environment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments, financial services, or digital/technology industries
  • Strong project management and planning skills with ability to progress multiple priorities concurrently

Responsibilities

  • Support developing and executing initiatives aligned to Visa Leadership Team’s priorities across segments and geographies.
  • Help develop strategies and initiatives that drive step-change improvement in accountability.
  • Implement enterprise-wide organizational improvements to unlock revenue, capacity, or investment funding.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve the client experience and accelerate time-to-market.
  • Drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that advance Visa’s growth, efficiency, and long-term strategy.
  • Partner closely with senior leaders to shape, evaluate, and execute complex, cross-functional initiatives that span functions, geographies, and stakeholder groups.
  • Apply strong analytical frameworks, strategic judgment, and critical thinking.
  • Partner with ETO leadership to identify, assess, and prioritize enterprise transformation initiatives that advance Visa’s revenue and growth strategy.
  • Lead and support cross-functional teams to develop business cases, project plans, and implementation roadmaps for high-impact initiatives.
  • Apply analytical frameworks to develop hypotheses and evaluate opportunities for organizational improvement, operational efficiency, cost savings, and revenue growth.
  • Analyze internal performance data, industry benchmarks, and market insights to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Build and manage financial models, project plans, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure disciplined execution and ROI.
  • Monitor initiative effectiveness and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations aligned with Visa’s enterprise strategy and values.
