The Vegetation Management (VM) Program Management Office (PMO) provides centralized oversight, governance, and performance management for VM programs supporting wildfire mitigation, regulatory commitments, and operational execution. The PMO partners closely with VM Leadership, Operations, Business Finance, Technology, Construction Management, and Compliance to ensure programs are delivered with discipline, transparency, and accountability. As VM continues to evolve and scale, the PMO plays a critical role in enabling leadership insight, proactive risk management, and alignment to Wildfire Mitigation Plan (WMP) commitments. The Senior Manager, PMO is a key leadership role responsible for the day-to-day operation, discipline, and stability of the centralized PMO. Reporting to the Director of Programs, this role leads PMO execution, enforces standards and governance, and serves as the primary operational interface between the PMO and cross-functional partners. This role is foundational to sustaining a high-performing PMO. The Senior Manager sets expectations, establishes operating cadence, develops and enforces processes, and ensures Program Managers are accountable for scope, schedule, budget, risk, and compliance alignment. The role requires strong leadership presence, the ability to influence without direct authority, and skill managing performance in a complex, regulated environment. This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring the employee to report to the Oakland General Office at least ONE day per week. The remaining days may be worked remotely, depending on business needs. The headquarters location is flexible and must be within the PG&E service territory. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
