The opportunity The Senior Manager, Digital Engagement (FMH) leads ICT partnership across a uniquely complex portfolio, translating faculty strategy into practical technology outcomes and guiding engagement across internal stakeholders, research communities and external health partners.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in client engagement, partnering or relationship-led roles within ICT or a comparable complex environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the confidence to work across senior academic, professional and external stakeholder groups
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities and a politically complex environment with resilience and sound judgement
  • Experience translating business or faculty needs into practical technology outcomes, plans and investment cases
  • Leadership capability to develop people, foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement
  • You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic ICT engagement across the Faculty of Medicine and Health, partnering with senior stakeholders on priorities, initiatives and investment opportunities
  • Translate faculty and University needs into high-level ICT requirements, roadmaps, business cases and delivery priorities
  • Oversee the successful progression of ICT projects and services across the portfolio, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and aligned to strategic objectives
  • Manage and develop a small team while providing escalation support, coaching and day-to-day leadership
  • Build strong relationships across clinical schools, research institutes, hospitals and broader ICT teams
  • Provide strategic advice in a setting that requires negotiation, resilience and strong cross-organisational collaboration.
