About The Position

As a Senior Manager within the Delivery Defects & Enhancements team, you will lead a team to uncover, size, route and support prioritization of our most critical delivery challenges. You'll bring deep analytical expertise and operational curiosity to properly identify data to size the enhancement, influence cross-functional partners, and drive strategic improvements that reduce defects and elevate the experience within Last Mile Delivery. This role is ideal for those who fall in love with using data to quantify a business problem and seek to bring AI-powered insights to scale solutions across our delivery ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in data analytics, SQL, and AI-driven analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python/R and applied machine learning.
  • Ability to distill complex data into simple, actionable insights using automation and ML.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence without authority.
  • Strong project management abilities and experience leading teams.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across technical and business functions.
  • Experience managing intake processes and routing requests effectively.
  • Familiarity with building scalable tools and frameworks for analytics.
  • Passion for uncovering and solving systemic issues through technology-forward methods.
  • Ability to translate data into business decisions and drive strategic impact.

  • Data science, data analysis, statistics, or related field
  • Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Related industry experience (for example, retail, merchandising, healthcare, eCommerce)
  • Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and scripting languages (for example, SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau)
  • Supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead Analytical Root Cause Discovery: Use structured methodologies, AI models, and data science tools to uncover the "why" behind recurring defects and delivery pain points.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Problem Resolution: Translate data insights into compelling narratives and partner with operations, product, and engineering teams to address root causes.
  • Manage Intake Requests: Oversee intake process for analytics requests, size efforts, and route to appropriate business partners for execution.
  • Build Scalable Analysis Frameworks: Leverage AI and automation to develop repeatable approaches for evaluating problems.
  • Enable Impact-First Prioritization: Use AI-driven impact estimates for smart sizing and prioritization of initiatives.
  • Develop Proactive Tooling: Partner to create automation, anomaly detection, and dashboards that surface issues before they escalate.
  • Lead and Develop Direct Reports: Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development for a team of analysts and managers.
  • Champion the Problem-Loving Mindset: Promote a culture where AI-driven discovery and full-context understanding are operationalized.

  • The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
