About The Position

Position Summary... We are seeking a Senior Manager, Creative Design with a strong focus on product photography direction for packaging and online channels. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and standardization of product imagery, develop and author photography style guides, and ensure all visuals align with brand standards. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Firefly, InDesign, and experience with AI image generation tools. You will collaborate cross-functionally, manage timelines, and drive quality and consistency in all product photography deliverables. Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Firefly, and InDesign.
  • Experience with AI tools specific to image generation and enhancement.
  • Strong understanding of digital asset management and file archiving best practices.
  • Familiarity with current trends in product photography and digital imaging.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media Design , or related field and 3 years’ experience in professional design, including print and consumer packaged goods experience, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in professional design, including print and consumer packaged goods experience, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Product Photography Direction: Lead the planning, art direction, and execution of product photography for packaging and online use.
  • Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and creative teams to develop and maintain visual standards for product imagery.
  • Oversee photoshoots, providing clear direction to ensure images meet technical and brand requirements.
  • Review, select, and approve final images for use in packaging and online listings.
  • Photography Style Guide Development: Author and update photography style guides for various brands, ensuring clear standards for lighting, composition, color, and post-production.
  • Train and guide internal and external teams on the application of photography style guides.
  • Design Production & File Management: Oversee design production, referencing previous source files and maintaining organized, systematic archives.
  • Manage timelines, prioritize deliverables, and implement revisions as needed.
  • Prepare files for release, evaluate proofs, and provide feedback to production partners.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with packaging, merchandising, and eCommerce teams to ensure product imagery meets business and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain consistency and quality in product photography.
  • Leadership & Communication: Supervise and develop associates, fostering a team-based environment and promoting a culture of belonging and continuous learning.
  • Communicate photography standards and expectations to internal and external partners.
