Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy
About The Position
The Sr. Manager will support internal strategic consulting projects for the Executive Committee. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the development of strategic plans, aligning strategies with key stakeholders, and working across complex matrix organizations. This role is highly cross-functional and will help create and execute a process to define and update Biogen’s corporate strategy, which will be informed by key stakeholders across the Company, including the Executive Committee, and should align to Biogen’s mission and vision. The Sr. Manager, Corporate Strategy will support Biogen’s strategic planning processes, including the annual strategy planning process. The successful candidate will partner with the Head of Corporate Strategy to develop and refine Biogen’s Corporate Strategic Plan under the leadership of the Executive Committee, and in partnership with Finance will support the Long-Range Planning process.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years experience, preferably with 3+ years in biotech, pharmaceutical, and/or consulting environments, including experience in corporate strategy or strategy consulting

Responsibilities
- Support processes that will help define, and continuously refine, the overall strategic direction of the company in the near-, mid-, and long-term
- Establish strong partnerships with key stakeholders to create the annual Corporate Strategic Plan
- Support the development of the appropriate process and cadence to create and update Biogen’s corporate strategy
- Support the execution of the Long-Range Planning process
- Provide internal consulting on strategic business questions
- Engage and oversee external consultants as appropriate
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop and align broad Biogen strategic plans
