About The Position

You play a pivotal role in leading the development and maturity of critical programs to support planning through execution. You’re a strong facilitator, driving cross-functional collaboration across leadership to support decisions around prioritization and Golden 1 resource capacity planning. You have high attention to detail, delivering quality reporting to the Executive Team and Board of Directors to support recommendations for resource allocations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
  • 7+ years of progressive experience with strategic planning, business development, product development, and/or program management within the financial services industry. Proven success in developing and implementing complex processes and programs to support planning through execution. Proven success in developing dynamic and informative reporting at an Executive and Board level. A deep understanding of how a financial institution operates required

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to gather insights and create reporting in preparation of the budgeting and initiative planning process, as appropriate, with a specific focus on strategic implications and contributions to our Strategic Goals.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with leaders to recommend, define, and implement processes that mature project governance capabilities, optimize resource management, facilitate effective prioritization, and drive measurable business outcomes that deliver the highest value to the Credit Union.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership to ensure effective communication and storytelling, develop proposals, and facilitate discussions.
  • Leverage performance data to recommend solutions and share successes. This can also include more foundational activities around competitive analysis.
  • Communicate key insights, offering recommendations for resolution and execution at a Senior and Executive leadership level.
  • Collaborate across Business Units to deliver on strategic outcomes with an increased focus on collaboration across Corporate Strategy, Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), and IT Planning & Governance to deliver optimal outcomes and a synergistic approach to program development and maturity.
  • Lead the development and ongoing management and maturity of programs to support planning through execution with a strong ability to communicate with those impacted and educate those will be needed to deliver.
  • Lead cross-functional corporate initiatives that drive transformation by formulating process improvement solutions, developing strategic roadmaps, defining maturity strategies, clearly communicating methodologies, and managing execution.
  • Responsible to ensure that upmost level of quality control is maintained through the development and iteration process of creating Executive and Board level materials.
  • Power user of systems used to measure, monitor, report, and support proactive management of organizational strategic initiatives and prioritization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders.
  • Coach, mentor other Corporate Strategy team members.
  • Understands principles of finance, lending theory, and business unit operations.
  • Prepare and/or review regular or ad hoc reports, analysis, and organize and manage meetings using appropriate software, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), portfolio and project management software, business intelligence/data visualization software, or any other software utilized to track, report, or analyze internal or external data/information.
  • Support or lead strategic initiatives assigned.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to Credit Union compliance.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.
