Kin makes life simpler, more affordable, and better for homeowners — especially in the places where climate risks, rising costs, and outdated systems make it harder. We start with smarter homeowners insurance and expand to everything homeowners need to thrive. Using data, technology, and thoughtful human support, we’re building products that are clear, fair, and help homeowners feel confident — so homeowners aren’t left behind when they need help most. We are looking for a Senior Manager - Content and Organic Search to create high-impact content that positions Kin as an authority homeowners trust for insight and advice. You find and fill information gaps for homeowners in need of advice, data, and straightforward information about home insurance, car insurance, home loans and more homeowner-relevant topics. This is a hands-on, high-impact leadership opportunity to elevate our content and drive value for homeowners. You will ensure we are creating content that provides clear, definitive, structured answers to common homeowner questions. You’ll own the strategy and execution for how Kin content surfaces when users search for across platforms like Google, Youtube and conversational engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. You’ll partner closely with product, data, design, and engineering to design search-friendly experiences, scalable systems, and content structures and formats that amplify discoverability and conversion Supporting you is a small team made up of a skilled senior editor, a copywriter, an SEO leader, and many freelance writers. You’ll collaborate with marketing and cross-functional stakeholders and report to the Senior Director of External Communications. In your first 6–12 months at Kin, success is less about checking boxes and more about the impact you create. You’ll use your skills and judgment to take ownership of meaningful work, improve how we operate, and help move Kin’s mission forward. Along the way, you’ll deliver outcomes that make a real difference for both Kinfolk and the homeowners we serve. By the end of your first year, you should feel confident in your role, trusted as an owner, and proud of the progress you’ve helped make.
