About The Position

The WW Commercialization Skills Development Team is the driving force behind empowering our Commercialization teams with the functional, and/or specialized skills needed to optimize long-term success for the BMS portfolio of products. As the Senior Manager, WW Commercialization Skills Development, you will collaborate with a dedicated team committed to advancing learning and shaping the future of skills training across Commercialization, inclusive of CASA (Commercialization AI Strategy & Analytics), Commercial and 3M (Medical, Marketing & Market Access) functions The WW Commercialization Skills Team is currently seeking a talented learning professional who is passionate about developing high-impact learning solutions. The Senior Manager role is a home-office based position within PPK or Uxbridge locations, who has the primary job responsibility to effectively consult, develop and selectively execute best-in-class, functionally specific, skills-based learning solutions for CASA, Commercial and 3M functions. This role will help to evolve the strategic vision for learning support for in-market and brand agnostic skills-based training. This role will collaborate closely with the CASA, Commercial and 3M Leads to successfully build learning that supports associated business objectives. Who you will work with: This position reports to the Director of WW commercialization Skills – dotted line into -Associate Director, WW Commercialization Home Office Skills, within the Commercialization Learning Centre of Excellence. In this role, the Senior Manager will partner with fellow WW Commercialization Skills team members, Centre of Excellence, Enterprise Learning and the Global Capability Centre (GCC, known internally as Learning Excellence & Advancement Partner or LEAP) to bring an integrated approach to CASA, Commercial and 3M skill development. The role will collaborate closely with US/International Commercialization, CASA, Commercial, and 3M functions to evaluate skills-based training requirements and ensure the successful deployment of these solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years learning and development experience
  • Experience launching global programs preferred
  • Commercialization, AI, Strategy & Analytics experience preferred
  • Expertise in AI-enabled content and learning pathway creation tools
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational challenges
  • Demonstrated expertise in effective communication, presentation, and facilitation
  • Intermediate to expert training experience required: including knowledge of conducting training needs analysis, adult learning principles, learning design, development, execution and evaluation
  • Experience operating in a complex cross-matrix environment and effectively connecting and collaborating with key matrix team members
  • Demonstrated strategic, forward-thinking, agile, enterprise mindset
  • Proven performance with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and vendors effectively and simultaneously
  • Demonstrated track record of developing self & others to drive and enhance performance
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and solutions-oriented
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Power Point, Excel and Word and other applications
  • Ability to travel for multiple meeting engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Associate Director on the strategic approach for annual Commercialization learning needs assessments across CASA, Commercial and 3M functions, combining data with internal and external data sources to identify skills-based learning requirements
  • Consult with International & US Commercialization, CASA, Commercial and 3M teams to agree and prioritize recommendations for new skills-based training solutions applicable to all Commercialization skills
  • Establish strategies for functional skills-based training curricula to address needs, working closely with curriculum pathway & LEAP teams to develop and execute a solution deployment roadmap and prioritized learning portfolio
  • Support the design and development of skills-based training solutions to ensure solutions are high-impact, incorporate adult learning principles, and include sustainability plans to reinforce desired skills and behaviors
  • Provide strategic direction and learning governance for external partners inclusive of LEAP, ensuring vendor‑delivered solutions align to the Commercialization Skills Model, adult learning principles, and global deployment standards.
  • Support the successful implementation of the Global Capability Centre (LEAP)
  • Oversee train-the-trainer (TTT) strategies where appropriate to ensure internal business partners are upskilled in training content, enabling them to effectively deploy skills-based training solutions inclusive of onboarding
  • Assess program effectiveness, identify synergies and opportunities to drive efficiencies, and evaluate whether programs should start, stop, or continue, in line with organizational goals and objectives
  • Stay abreast of external trends for innovative training solutions and skill needs to ensure future readiness of the WW Commercialization Skills Team
  • Operate in a complex cross- matrix environment and effectively connect and collaborate with key matrix team members including HR, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance.
  • Coordinate training delivery with internal and external partners as needed.
