About The Position

This role will be responsible for development, management, and ongoing maintenance of all data, reporting, analytic tools, platforms and databases for all Commercial Portfolio Management activities and some within the Global Marketing Team, while also leading related initiatives. Additionally, the role will be managing the day-to-day project management and operational effectiveness needs of the Portfolio Planning and Optimization (PPO) lead and key PPO global commercial platform initiatives. Lastly, it will involve working across a broad, cross-functional organization, including the Demand/Supply Alignment (DSA) Team, Portfolio Network Planning, Competitor Supply Intelligence, Commercial Assessments & Capabilities Team, Portfolio Optimization & Simplification Team, Commercial, Manufacturing, Finance, Business Analytics, Business Technology, Global Marketing, and other departments within Pfizer

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Management, quantitative field required
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in operations, commercial, analytics, management consulting, or related discipline within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong Analytical, coding skills (such as: Python, R, SQL, DAX etc.) or other contemporary programming languages
  • Advanced Tableau and Power BI skills desired
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and Database skills. Advanced MS-Excel skills required
  • Knowledge of PGS systems (SAP BI, IBP) & Finance systems/datasets (MOSAIC, OpPlan, IQVIA).
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder relationship skills – Must be detail orientated with the ability to navigate, understand, and leverage large data sets containing commercial, finance and manufacturing information for decision making
  • Ability to perform complex data analysis
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
  • This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Planning & Optimization (PPO) Project Management / Operations Support: Develop and manage PPO MS Teams, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools
  • Facilitate PPO team cross-projects integration to maintain sustainable data systems and update processes
  • Drive, implement and maintain continuous improvement by identifying, developing, and maintaining new capabilities that enhance efficiency and maximize the business’s competitive advantage.
  • Provide thought partnership in building and standardizing commercial reporting eco-system
  • Identify and drive technology efficiencies across CPM technical tools
  • Portfolio Optimization and Simplification: Project manage activities with CPM, BAI, Digital, Manufacturing, Finance, Business Analytics, Business Technology, Global Marketing, and other departments within Pfizer to develop, implement, and maintain data, reporting dashboards, metrics, tools, and analytics, ensuring data integrity synthesize and communicate the status and progress of key initiatives
  • Manage SKU Exit “Trains Tracks” database. Update database with extracts from PGS and REG21 systems. Update records with feedback from process participants. Generate performance metrics.
  • Support portfolio analysis associated with key portfolio decisions
  • Support the annual revenue and unit alignment process for the LRVF (Long Range Volume Forecast) for the PBG portfolio in partnership with Pfizer Global Supply (PGS), Commercial and Finance
  • Support the annual process to sanitize data and pressure test long range demand and assumptions with Markets, Regions, Marketing and Finance
  • Other Commercial Responsibilities: Leverage analytic skills to simplify complicated concepts or large dataset and develop case materials/decks
  • Support ad-hoc CPM projects on an as-needed basis
