About The Position

As a Senior Manager, Commercial Operations, you will act as a central commercial driver across the business, leading a rotating mix of high-priority initiatives that shape how we bring products to market, communicate value to customers, and grow the brand. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and special projects. You will help define how new ideas come to life—from building the commercial story and customer-facing claims behind product improvements, to driving strategic projects, to bringing in external partnerships that increase relevance and create excitement for customers. This role is ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial by nature, a strong generalist (or comes from product or marketing), and energized by owning complex, high-visibility work from concept through execution. You should be a strong commercial thinker—someone who understands how to connect product, brand, marketing, and customer behavior.

Requirements

  • Commercially minded, with a strong instinct for what will resonate with customers and drive business results
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive, with a bias toward action and ownership
  • A strong cross-functional operator who can influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with advanced Excel skills and comfort working with data
  • Highly emotionally intelligent, able to navigate complexity, build relationships, and communicate effectively across teams
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and energized by solving new problems
  • Able to zoom out strategically and dive in tactically when needed
  • 5–8+ years of experience in strategy, product, marketing, operations, consulting, or a related field
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or special projects from concept to execution
  • A track record of driving measurable business impact
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in consumer, e-commerce, subscription, or CPG businesses is a plus
  • Experience with product marketing, partnerships, GTM strategy, or commercial innovation is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support rotating commercial initiatives across the business, taking on high-priority projects that require strong strategic thinking, operational follow-through, and cross-functional coordination
  • Own go-to-market strategy for key launches and initiatives, ensuring clear, insights-driven positioning, strong customer value propositions, and the messaging frameworks and channel briefs needed to carry strategy through to execution
  • Develop reasons-to-believe and product claims that translate product features into compelling, customer-facing narratives
  • Monitor the competitive landscape to inform positioning, pricing narratives, and product claims — translating market dynamics into actionable brand and commercial guidance
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Culinary, Editorial, Packaging, and Operations to bring initiatives to life end-to-end
  • Lead strategic product partnerships with external brands to enhance product offerings, drive cultural relevance, and unlock incremental growth
  • Operate as a special projects lead, taking on high-priority, ambiguous work across areas such as lifecycle marketing, customer experience, and commercial innovation
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and commercial performance, using both data and customer insight
  • Build and maintain analytical models (primarily in Excel) to support decision-making, track performance, and inform strategy
  • Move quickly from insight to action, balancing speed with quality in a fast-paced environment
