About The Position

The Senior Manager of Channel Content role will be responsible for marketing content and messaging strategy and development for AssetMark’s financial intermediary channels, with a focus on RIA, bank/trust companies and broker-dealer firms. The ideal candidate is a creative marketer, talented writer, and strategic thinker with experience in marketing to financial professionals in a B2B environment. Strong ability to create compelling content in a deadline-driven environment is a must. This is a full-time position in our Concord, CA office with a hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to tailor to different advisor audiences and content format
  • Deep experience developing marketing and thought leadership content for financial advisors
  • Strong understanding of investment products, technology platforms and advisor business needs; ability to quickly learn and synthesize complex topics
  • Proven ability to create integrated content strategies across print, digital, web, email, PowerPoint, social and video
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance brand storytelling, demand generation and product-driven messaging
  • Experience with web content strategy
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort working with senior leaders and subject-matter experts
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-paced evolving environment
  • Knowledge of financial services and/or investment products
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing high-impact marketing content
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in financial services marketing

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a full spectrum of content—from thought leadership and narrative-driven storytelling to product and campaign content that brings new investment and technology solutions to market
  • Translate complex investment, technology, and platform capabilities into clear, compelling, advisor-focused value propositions
  • Plan, create and manage content across multiple formats and channels, including print collateral, digital assets, presentations, website content, email campaigns, social media posts and video
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to shape website content strategy and user experience, contribute to web design and optimization initiatives as needed
  • Monitor performance and engagement metrics to inform ongoing optimization of content and channel strategy
