About The Position

As the Senior Catering Manager you will be responsible for: Job Responsibilities: The Senior Catering Manager is responsible for soliciting and booking business to achieve sales goals and objectives, Such objectives are : selling and coordinating food, beverage, decor, entertainment, audio visual, etc. for all group sales booked, while generating maximum revenue from each group. The managers is also responsible for leading and mentoring the Catering Services Managers, Catering Managers and Administrative Assistants. The manager must be able to assist in development of the staff. Is responsible for assisting Banquet Services, and any other duties as assigned by the Director or Management. Qualifications Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner. 2nd language a plus. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires a minimum of 5 years work experience in upscale catering/conference services, including a minimum of two years catering sales management experience. Computer proficiency in computer systems: including MS Office and Delphi systems are preferred, but not required. Candidate must exhibit leadership skills and the ability to work self-managed. Requires the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times Applicants must be 21 years of age or above. Requirements
