About The Position

As the Sr. Manager of Business Operations, you will serve as the primary architect for Salesforce Engineering’s most significant investments: People. You will lead the strategic headcount management for engineering organization as well as software and program spend management in the Salesforce Product Engineering COO organization , to ensure we are investing right to grow for the future. This is a high-visibility role that requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, business partnering with leadership team as well as financial and data analytics savviness.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in business operations, strategy and planning, corporate finance/FP&A, or workforce planning at a global scale.
• Expertise in Business Operations & Strategic Planning: Proven track record managing complex organizational structures, capacity modeling, and talent investment strategies.
• Finance Literacy: Understanding of the finance language to manage P&L and budget. Capabilities to deal with large amount of data.
• Executive Presentation: polished skill in delivering written and verbal executive presentation in document, presentation and dashboard format.

Nice To Haves

• Education: A technical or business degree (Engineering, Economics, Finance). MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Tooling: experience in dealing with dashboard (Tableau, PowerBI, etc) as a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unified Resource Governance: Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of Engineering headcount, from capacity planning and organizational design to talent location strategy, as well as growth and investment.
• People Transformation: Derive insights to drive evolution in our resources planning and deployment to achieve long-term transformation to fuel the business growth as well as optimization.
• Operational Excellence: Implement and govern Headcount recruiting, backfill policies and guardrails, ensuring global engineering teams operate within fiscal targets without sacrificing innovation speed.
• Investment Intelligence: Provide the "Command Center" view of Engineering org, synthesizing complex labor and cloud data into clear narratives for the C-suite.
