About The Position

Supplier Excellence exists to make Walmart the retailer of choice for suppliers by simplifying and accelerating the supplier experience, improving enablement, and strengthening relationships—so suppliers can help deliver the company strategy. We build scalable, people-led/tech-powered supplier engagement models across the lifecycle (onboarding, collaboration, performance, and support), with success measured by outcomes like speed-to-site, self-serve resolution, supplier sentiment, and performance transparency. Supplier Excellence reduces supplier friction and improves enablement by building scalable supplier engagement models, clear supplier communications, and strong enterprise operating rhythms for supplier-facing moments like Walmart Growth Forum (WGF). What you'll do... Develop and maintain the annual supplier narrative and theme map (key messages, timing, strategic rationale) to drive supplier-facing change management and adoption. Design and implement communications architecture and governance (intake, approvals, segmentation, channel strategy) to reduce fragmented launches and improve supplier clarity. Create announcement/toolkit packages (story, positioning, readiness) so launches land cleanly and consistently. Program-manage Walmart Growth Forum (WGF) workstreams: build integrated workback plans, manage dependencies/risks/issues, drive decision forums, and ensure on-time delivery across content and cross-functional inputs. Run the operating rhythm for enterprise supplier moments: weekly cadence, agendas, action logs, decision capture, and executive-ready status reporting to keep partners aligned and unblocked. Coordinate enterprise-wide across Merchandising, Sourcing, Legal, Compliance, and Technology to sequence supplier-facing moments and deliver one coherent message. How you’ll know you’re winning (success measures) Walmart Growth Forum (WGF) delivered on-time with clear decision cadence, managed risks/issues, and strong cross-functional alignment. Supplier-facing launches and moments are more coherent (fewer conflicting messages; clearer sequencing and readiness). Higher adoption of supplier-facing changes as measured by engagement/usage and stakeholder feedback. What you’ll bring... 6+ years in program/project management, communications, change management, strategy, or transformation (supplier-facing/B2B a plus). Demonstrated ability to run complex cross-functional programs: workbacks, critical path, risk management, decision governance, and executive-level status reporting. Experience building comms governance beyond writing—intake, prioritization, approvals, segmentation, and channel strategy. Strong stakeholder orchestration and influence without authority; comfort with sensitive topics and fast turns. Excellent narrative and executive-ready writing; ability to drive adoption and measure effectiveness. Bonus: experience supporting enterprise-scale forums/summits; fluency with PM tools (Smartsheet/MS Project/Jira); vendor/agency coordination.
