Role summary: The Senior Analyst, Business Analysis and Insights, plays a critical role in delivering accurate, data-driven analysis to support strategic business decisions. About the team: The Walmart Facility Services team comprises over 9,000 skilled associates and trusted partners dedicated to maintaining and enhancing operations across more than 5,000 locations. The team focuses on building a world-class maintenance program emphasizing asset management, reliability, and disciplined execution. As the organization evolves, the team expands its scope to include value creation and monetization by optimizing asset performance and developing new service offerings, strategic partnerships, and commercial models. This approach leverages operational expertise and scale to generate incremental value beyond traditional maintenance, supporting Walmart’s broader business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in data modeling and business intelligence tools, including Tableau, to deliver actionable insights.
  • Strong ability to document and analyze business requirements aligned with organizational goals.
  • Experience evaluating key performance indicators and financial data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining business processes that ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to translate data-driven insights into business solutions.
  • Commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and continuous improvement in analytical practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or relevant area.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and validate data accuracy by comparing internal information with external sources, budgets, and actual results.

  • Prepare and present reports that communicate analytical findings and support decision-making processes.
  • Monitor business processes to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with company policies and standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives across teams.
