As a senior manager, brand communications, you will be responsible for leading external brand communications that elevate the Starbucks customer experience and strengthen brand reputation through earned media. As a senior manager in brand communications, you will… Develop and execute annual communication plan that amplifies the brand and marketing work as part of Back to Starbucks. Partner with cross functional teams such as advertising, experiential marketing, product, and business strategy to identify and land feature stories with media and support thought leadership. Serve as the lead for brand communications news agenda – Ensure cohesive media engagement strategies across all brand communications projects and support director in providing recommendations to senior leaders on media strategy, narrative development and channel plans. Create and execute earned media plans for a variety of customer experience initiatives from big-bet product launches to Global Barista Championship. Serve as communications lead on the cross-functional integrated team and coordinate channel plans across social media, paid and owned channels. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and ability to navigate ambiguity while leading agency team and cross-functional plans within a large organization – all while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
