Role We are looking for a Senior Manager of Americas Workplace Operations to join our People & Culture team. This is a full-time role based in San Jose, CA (onsite Monday-Friday), reporting to the Director of Global Workplace Operations. You will oversee our Global HQ and various offices across the Americas, managing teams outside of our headquarters with a focus on operational excellence for large-scale facilities and multiple US locations. You’ll partner directly with C-suite executives to drive innovation and create collaborative workspaces that foster a high-performance culture across our footprint. What You’ll Do (Role Expectations) Operational Excellence & Facilities Oversight: Direct end-to-end HQ operations, facilities maintenance, and vendor relationships, ensuring a safe, high-efficiency environment through proactive repairs, service optimization, and the execution of major projects like office moves and upgrades. Financial Stewardship & Procurement: Manage the comprehensive America’s budget and procurement lifecycle, including monthly variance reporting, PO/invoice management, and strategic cost-balancing to ensure facility amenities meet both quality standards and fiscal targets. Workplace Experience & Cultural Alignment: Partner cross-functionally with People & Culture and IT to design initiatives that foster collaboration and productivity, overseeing seamless onboarding experiences and local events that reflect and strengthen company culture. Health, Safety, & Risk Management: Champion workplace safety and compliance by partnering closely with the Security and Safety team. This includes leading the HQ Emergency Response Team and supporting required compliance programs (including Cal-OSHA, Ergo, and Workplace Violence reporting) to ensure a secure and regulated environment for all team members. Strategic Leadership & Performance Tracking: Lead and mentor the HQ workplace team while collaborating with global leadership to drive corporate initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and industry trends to continuously elevate workplace effectiveness. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in workplace solutions, facilities, or similar roles with a focus on program management.
  • Experience managing a global-centric headquarters and overseeing large-scale office builds, renovations, and relocations
  • Direct experience overseeing multiple office locations across the United States
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor negotiations, management, and facilities budget development
  • Experience managing and leading workplace teams outside of a central headquarters

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience managing workplace operations and teams in Canada or Latin America
  • Deep passion for workplace innovation and the ability to work effectively within global, multicultural teams
