About The Position

We’re hiring a Senior Manager, Ad Buyer Insights to join our Strategy & Operations team at EMARKETER. This role sits within EMARKETER’s Advisory practice and focuses on helping commerce media networks and CTV platforms translate ad buyer insights into revenue-driving strategies. You will work directly with senior executives, supporting pre-sales conversations, delivering customized advisory engagements, and shaping how clients respond to evolving advertiser needs. This is a highly visible, client-facing role at the intersection of data, strategy, and relationships. This is a hybrid role based out of our New York City office, with regular in office expectations. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future and be within commuting distance of our New York City office. Relocation assistance is not available.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting or strategy roles within media, advertising, adtech, commerce media, or CTV organizations
  • Deep understanding of the commerce media and or CTV advertising ecosystem.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering strategic, insights-led consulting engagements.
  • Strong storytelling, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to translate data and research into strategic frameworks and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and an active professional network within the industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct exposure to retail media networks or CTV platforms such as Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Roku, or major broadcasters.
  • Experience working with advertiser or ad buyer decision-makers.
  • Background in market research or insights-driven consulting.
  • Track record of supporting business development or revenue growth initiatives.
  • Active involvement in industry organizations such as IAB, ANA, or 4A’s.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Advisory leadership on pre-sales conversations, articulating the value of EMARKETER’s ABI Advisory offerings.
  • Identify and scope advisory engagements based on client needs, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
  • Translate ad buyer survey data and research into clear, actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Design and deliver executive-level presentations, workshops, and advisory sessions.
  • Provide strategic counsel to commerce media networks and CTV platforms on go-to-market strategy, advertiser engagement, and platform development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders across commerce media and streaming organizations.
  • Represent EMARKETER at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Contribute to EMARKETER’s thought leadership through LinkedIn engagement and participation in industry conversations.
