About The Position

As the Senior Legal Operations Specialist – eDiscovery here at Honeywell, you will support Honeywell’s Litigation Center of Excellence (CoE) by executing legal hold, data preservation, and defensible data collection practices for litigation (actual and anticipated), internal and government investigations, and subpoena responses. In this role, you will help implement, and continuously improve policies, procedures, and workflows for preserving, collecting, and transferring data in accordance with legal, security, and privacy requirements, while directly performing these activities to support the Honeywell Aerospace Legal Department. You will partner closely with the eDiscovery, Investigations, and in-house legal teams, outside counsel and service providers, and internal stakeholders (including IT and Global Security) to administer forensic tools and protocols, coordinate collection activities, and maintain documentation and chain-of-custody controls that enable defensible outcomes. You will report directly to the Legal Operations Program Lead and work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.  Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the ongoing development of eDiscovery and forensic policies, procedures, and workflows, including evaluation and selection of supporting tools, platforms, and service providers
  • Administer and support Legal Hold software (e.g., Exterro or comparable platforms), including custodian notices, acknowledgements, releases, and audit-ready reporting
  • Manage preservation-in-place and legal holds in Microsoft 365 using Purview Compliance (eDiscovery/Legal Hold) capabilities
  • Administer and support RelativityOne and related case management tools, including workspace setup, user access, data imports/exports, and coordination with service providers
  • Transfer data to support vendors via approved secure methods (e.g., FTP/SFTP), including checksum/validation, status tracking, and delivery confirmations
  • Prepare and deliver monthly KPIs, operational dashboards, and incident/exception reports for program leadership and key stakeholders
  • Coordinate lab operations and oversight of lab personnel (as applicable) and day-to-day management of forensic/eDiscovery case activities
  • Partner with IT and other technical teams to troubleshoot issues, mitigate risks, and drive timely resolution of preservation/collection tool or process incidents
  • Maintain defensible chain-of-custody documentation by tracking the intake, imaging, storage, transfer, and return of devices, media, and other evidence in alignment with eDiscovery, investigations, and information security best practices
