About The Position

As a Senior Lease Administrator at Avison Young, you will manage the delivery of lease administration services across assigned accounts within our Occupier Services, Global Lease Administration team. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, overseeing quality control, and supporting financial and reporting functions. You will serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients while driving consistency and continuous improvement across processes. The base salary is aligned with market data and is estimated between $70,000 to $85,000 with the ability to achieve additional compensation through bonus. This salary range reflects base compensation for the position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors including relevant education/training, experience, and internal equity. What Success Looks Like Lease data is accurate, validated, and consistently maintained. Accounts are managed effectively with timely delivery and minimal rework. Financial outputs and reporting are accurate and reliable. Critical dates and risks are proactively identified and communicated. Issues are resolved efficiently with clear, professional communication. Process improvements are identified and implemented to enhance delivery. Associate-level team members are supported, resulting in consistent quality and output.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Law or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7 years of experience in lease administration, contract administration, or commercial real estate.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with reporting/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Smartsheet) preferred.
  • Experience with lease administration platforms (e.g., TRIRIGA, CoStar, Tango, Leasecake, ProLease, Corom/Yardi) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage lease administration for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of services.
  • Review and validate lease abstraction, including financial terms, critical dates, and obligations.
  • Oversee quality control processes to maintain data integrity and compliance with established standards.
  • Support rent administration, including invoice review, processing, and variance analysis.
  • Perform reconciliations and support audit-related activities to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate and deliver reporting, including critical dates, financial summaries, and KPIs.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for lease-related inquiries, coordinating across internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Support onboarding and transition of accounts, including data validation and process setup.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, standardization, and service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and review support to Associate-level team members.
  • Maintain documentation, including SOPs and job aids, to support consistent execution.
  • Escalate complex issues with clear analysis and recommendations.
  • and of course, other duties as assigned
