About The Position

The Senior Learning and Development Trainer supports the mission, goals and objectives of Huntington Health. Serves as a resource to employees, physicians, and leadership staff. Maintains knowledge of Learning, training, engagement, development practices and tools; as well as process improvement methodologies and educational processes. Assists in the development and implementation of the following programs: engagement, leadership/professional development, non-clinical education, organizational systems, assessment tools and interventions, change management, culture change, and employee survey administration. Leads and teaches others, and through positive communication skills actively supports a collaborative environment in the promotion of health, wellness and education for positive patient outcomes. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a similar field referred required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience with a progressive increase of responsibility.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of overall experience within Human Resources, organizational development, leadership development and Employee and Physician Engagement functions.
  • Proven experience in creating employee engagement strategies and plans; devising and implementing effective, result-oriented employee engagement programs.
  • Demonstrated success of managing multiple time-critical projects and managing people and influences teams, meeting and exceeding goals; preferably in implementing or managing an employee engagement platform.
  • Demonstrated learning development abilities and excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) skills, with creative presentation and advanced excel skills.
  • Excellent judgment, coupled with strong problem-solving skills and creative decision making a must.
  • Excellent communication, research, writing and presentation skills, with the ability to create meaningful content to drive engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment that spans different job functions, departments, and geographies.
  • Ability to manage various project elements simultaneously.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and problem-solving ability.
  • An outstanding writer with the ability to create compelling messages that provides all levels of employees and physicians with a clear line of sight to business strategy.
