About The Position

Our client is one of the world's largest investment funds that manages hundreds of billions of dollars. The company's business is focused on several areas: private equity, venture capital, real assets, investment solutions, and global credit, experience in the banking/investment field. This project focuses on integrating advanced data solutions to deliver real-time insights, empowering clients to make more informed investment decisions. By handling large data volumes within a collaborative team, we're building a cutting-edge asset management system that adapts to market dynamics and directly supports global investment strategies. Team members gain long-term growth opportunities at the intersection of technology and finance. We are looking for a highly experienced Senior/Lead Business Analyst to work on business cases with clients from the financial services (real estate field). The candidate must be an effective communicator as will have to establish direct connections between stakeholders and the team (and develop trust). Core responsibilities include communication with the business and with the team to develop specific solutions (both on user and technical sides). The ability to facilitate teamwork is a big plus.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on delivering complex projects
  • Solid background in Asset Management with a mature, structured, and strategic approach to problem-solving
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and ability to connect business needs with technical solutions
  • Demonstrated capability to take ownership of requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with business objectives
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of BAs, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
  • Expertise in translating business needs into software and operational requirements, documenting and analyzing requirements, and proposing practical, value-adding solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate effective workshops and discussions
  • Experience in stakeholder management, facilitating interaction between business and technical teams, and building trust-based relationships
  • Participation in project planning, dispute resolution, and risk evaluation
  • Hands-on experience in querying and analyzing data in relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail in validating implemented solutions against requirements
  • Experience in delivering end-user product training and supporting adoption of new solutions
  • Highly motivated, self-driven leader with the ability to work independently while guiding and inspiring a team
  • Financial services industry experience, knowledge of basic terms
  • Experience in writing specifications and drafting user interfaces
  • Experience in preparing requirements for internal/external data feeds mastering
  • Requirements management during the development cycle, knowledge of project life cycle models
  • Business processes modeling, knowledge of notations and methodologies
  • Understanding and using the techniques for identifying requirements
  • Ability to convert vague and unstructured information into distinct requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with wireframing tools
  • Knowledge of Broadridge Sentry or similar systems
