About The Position

Senior IT Project Manager Premier Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Senior IT Project Management with at least 10 years of related experience leading enterprise IT projects/programs. The candidate must have strong leadership, deep enterprise IT knowledge, and experience managing cross-functional teams. The PM must balance priorities and coordinate resources to deliver technical projects on time, on schedule and within the cost parameters provided. This is a full-time, onsite, position located in Washington, DC. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of proven experience delivering integrated project/program management.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Previous ITSM experience with ServiceNow.
  • Proven ability to continuously increase efficiency and reduce errors using AI Work as a project management consultant by adding strategic value through structured/critical thinking, stakeholder alignment, clear communication, and adaptability
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • ITIL V4

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a mixed contractor environment with multiple integrated teams and geographical locations.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure and IT disciplines (server, network operations, help desk, etc.)
  • Strong customer relations experience including positive and proactive customer engagement to resolve issues and challenges as they arise.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Infrastructure & Operations programs and major projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality targets are met.
  • Develop and maintain project plans (milestones, dependencies, critical path) and perform resource leveling to optimize delivery in a matrixed environment.
  • Coordinate and negotiate resource assignments across functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the right skills are applied to tasks and deadlines are met.
  • Facilitate governance and stakeholder meetings; produce concise executive reports, status dashboards, and escalation recommendations.
  • Implement and enforce PMO methodologies, standards, change control, release governance, and quality assurance practices.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues; own escalation paths and implement contingency or recovery plans as needed.
  • Oversee vendor and third-party engagement for operational workstreams.
  • Coach and mentor junior project managers, and delivery teams on project management best practices, capacity planning, and cross functional collaboration.
  • Track and report KPIs/SLAs and success metrics (e.g., schedule variance, resource utilization, incident/change impact, benefits realization) and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned.
