About The Position

We are a no-toes culture. That means that even though folks manage specific buckets of work, really nothing is off limits. If you see something that’s broken, you should fix it (if you know how) or find the person who can fix it, even if it may not clearly fit into your scope of work. So while we can outline a general list of jobs to be done, there will always be things on the fringe that you’ll be expected to own/manage. As a Senior IT Operations Engineer, the jobs-to-be-done are pretty straightforward: Ensure everyone has access to the products and platforms they need, and no one has access to something (or a specific level of access to something) that they shouldn’t Support our corporate team by resolving IT and security- related issues as quickly and effectively as possible Improve the operational efficiency of our systems and infrastructure so people can work faster and better Manage current security policies and expand on security policies to ensure our data and information remain safe, while still allowing for agility/flexibility for our team to move fast Manage relationships for several of the central vendors/platforms in our tech stack Main systems you’ll work out of: While we have many platforms across the company, you will spend a lot of your time working from Rippling, our HRIS and SSO provider. Some of the other top platforms we use for communication, documentation and operations: Google Suite Slack Atlassian (Confluence, Jira, Jira Service Management) Notion Airtable Zapier

  • Be familiar with SSO, SAML, IAM and other integration and access management processes/workflows

  • Have experience engaging with corporate employees about technical issues/challenges, and resolving said issues quickly and effectively

  • If outside the US, you’d need to work at least 5 hours of overlap with PST timezone
