Providence is seeking a Senior IS Project Manager to join the Epic Clinical Informatics Solutions Team. This role will oversee multiple clinical service lines—including Perioperative Services and Case Management—while managing clinical governance bodies, IS Roadmap projects, Epic Release initiatives, and other strategic priorities. Providence supports 100% virtual work for residents located in the following States: Alaska Washington Oregon Montana California

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Project Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Operations or Information Technology -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of project management experience in healthcare, information technology, or a related industry, leading medium to large, complex projects using established PM methodologies and software
  • Experience should include: Managing projects with multiple teams and navigating the product development or quality lifecycle
  • Delivering formal and informal presentations to senior and executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Developing, refining, and applying process standards and objectives tailored to project needs

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training: Project Management methodologies
  • Upon Hire: Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute
  • Upon Hire: Certified Associate in Project Management (PMI) Certification
  • 3 or more years of experience working in the healthcare industry
  • Leadership & Delivery: Delivers complex projects on time and within budget; maintains complete, audit-ready artifacts
  • Communication: Produces tailored status reports; achieves stakeholder alignment with minimal rework
  • Methodology: Selects appropriate lifecycle and PM approach; enforces standards across teams
  • Risk/Issue: Maintains a living RAID log; implements effective mitigations and tracks resolution to closure
  • Collaboration/Mentorship: Demonstrably improves team cohesion and PM maturity through coaching and conflict resolution
