This position is hybrid and will work across the system and from home within the Sacramento or San Francisco Bay area with an office in the SF Bay area or Sacramento. Responsible for leading and managing staff in charge of complex Virtual Health projects and communications supporting regional, operating unit or system-wide goals and initiatives. Maintains working knowledge of telehealth policy and regulation to guide virtual health programs and projects. Oversees resource and time management initiatives and applications, and manages the intake and delivery of virtual health projects for the team. Provides mentoring to project team members in regards to departmental, organizational and personnel issues and serves as a resource for change management, staff development and cross training. Collaborates with leaders and sponsors, operations, medical groups, service lines, informatics, and digital teams. • Healthcare Systems: Strong grasp of clinical operations, care delivery models, and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS). • Virtual Care: Expertise in telehealth platforms, remote monitoring, and digital health trends. • Health IT: Familiarity with EHRs (e.g., Epic), interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), and data privacy. • Business & Finance: Understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement models, and ROI analysis. • Leadership & Change: Knowledge of organizational change, performance improvement, and team development.
