Requirements

High school diploma required.
4+ years' of experience working with pump and well systems, septic systems, water conditioning, and irrigation products.
Advanced fluid handling technical product knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to handle escalated customer issues with a solutions-focused approach.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency with CRM/ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
Leadership skills with experience mentoring, training, or coaching junior staff.

Nice To Haves

Installation experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Support internal sales and branch teams as a fluid handling technical resource, troubleshooting pump and well systems, septic systems, water conditioning, and irrigation products.
Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts and escalated customer issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Proactively identify customer needs and recommend solutions, product alternatives, or process improvements that add value.
Prepare accurate quotes for customers by gathering pricing, availability, and product details.
Travel with sales team to job sites as needed to assess project conditions, evaluate customer needs, and recommend appropriate fluid handling solutions. (approximately 10% or less)
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and digital platforms.
Mentor and support entry-level Inside Sales Support Specialists, sharing best practices and assisting with complex inquiries.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing workflows, customer interactions, and system utilization.
Evaluate and recommend inventory adjustments at the branch level, including the addition of new products and the removal of underperforming or obsolete items within the Fluid Handling product category.
Stay current with industry developments, competitor offerings, and technology tools that impact customer service and sales support.
