About The Position

We’re hiring an Immigration Operations Specialist to join our core case operations team. This role begins with hands-on immigration casework and expands into operations, customer experience, and product input. You will not only execute cases but also help shape how immigration work is done at Casium. You’ll work closely with attorneys, founders, and product teams to ensure that our tools, workflows, and automation actually lead to better legal outcomes and a better customer experience. This is a high-ownership role designed for someone who wants to grow beyond traditional paralegal work and into operations leadership, customer success, or legal ops. This is a cross-functional role with high visibility and deep impact on how Casium operates, builds, and grows.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in U.S. employment-based immigration, with hands-on experience managing PERM processes and high-volume corporate immigration matters (paralegal, immigration specialist, or similar)
  • Strong legal writing skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ownership.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, evolving environments.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Interest in how technology can improve legal work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with O-1, EB-1A, or EB-2 NIW cases.
  • Exposure to legal operations, customer success, or process improvement work.
  • Experience working with internal tools and providing thoughtful feedback to product or engineering teams.
  • Comfort using AI and automation tools to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Interest in training, mentoring, or enabling others through clear documentation and playbooks.
  • Strong curiosity and enthusiasm for being an early adopter of Casium’s technology, with the ability to translate learnings into actionable improvements for the team and product.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage employment-based immigration cases end-to-end (L-1s, H-1B, PERM-based cases, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, O-1A etc).
  • Draft, organize, and quality-check petition materials, evidence packets, and supporting documentation.
  • Track timelines, milestones, and deadlines with precision.
  • Apply sound judgment and escalate legal questions appropriately.
  • Identify patterns, bottlenecks, and failure points in immigration workflows.
  • Provide structured feedback to product and engineering on: Intake flows Document generation and review Evidence organization Case tracking and client visibility
  • Help validate whether automation and tooling are improving quality, not just speed.
  • Help product and engineering test new technologies and new product features.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients throughout the immigration process.
  • Communicate complex concepts clearly and empathetically.
  • Proactively surface risks, gaps, or delays and help resolve them early.
  • Create and improve playbooks, templates, SOPs, and quality checklists.
  • Turn one-off fixes into repeatable systems.
  • Support onboarding and training of future hires as the team grows.
  • Take ownership of workflows as a DRI over time.
