What is the opportunity? As the Senior IAM Systems Engineer, you will participate in the design with architect then lead implementation, and support of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions at RBC, with a strong focus on CyberArk technologies. This role requires deep technical expertise in IAM, hands-on experience with CyberArk’s core components, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver secure, scalable identity solutions. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a passion for cybersecurity, automation, and driving efficiency in enterprise environments. What will you do? Lead CyberArk Implementations: Lead and manage the full lifecycle of PAM solutions, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of CyberArk Core components (PVWA, CPM, PSM, PSMP, CP/CCP) Act as a CyberArk SME: Provide expert guidance on architecture, performance optimization, and security hardening for CyberArk deployments. Drive Automation & Efficiency: Develop scripts (Python, PowerShell) to automate workflows, integrations, and reporting. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with IT, Security, DevOps, and Compliance teams to align IAM initiatives with business goals. Solve Complex Challenges: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, leveraging root-cause analysis and innovative solutions. Ensure Project Success: Manage deliverables using Agile/Scrum methodologies, track progress in tools like Jira, and maintain clear documentation (runbooks). Influence Stakeholders: Communicate technical strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment on timelines and outcomes. What do you need to succeed? Must have: 5+ years of IAM experience, with 3+ years hands-on CyberArk implementation/support (PVWA, CPM, PSM, PSMP, CP/CCP) Strong CyberArk troubleshooting skills, including performance tuning and security hardening Programming proficiency (Python, PowerShell) for automation and integrations. Deep understanding of IAM principles: Identity governance, privileged access security, and access management. Project leadership experience: Coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and delivering IAM projects Agile/Scrum familiarity and experience with tools like Jira Excellent problem-solving abilities: A proven track record of researching and implementing innovative solutions. Strong documentation skills: Maintaining technical runbooks and troubleshooting guides. Experience leveraging AI agents for IAM tasks, such as automated access provisioning, threat detection, and compliance monitoring. Familiarity with integrating AI tools to enhance IAM workflows, improve efficiency, and support decision-making Nice-to-have: CyberArk Certified Defender (CADEF) or equivalent certification. Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, or PMP. Cloud IAM experience (AWS IAM, Azure AD). Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) skills (Terraform, Ansible).
