About The Position

This position will serve as a point of contact for all HR and administrative support for various project sites. The Sr. Human Resources Specialist will provide exceptional customer service, support employee relation needs, and provide a wide range of HR administrative requirements. This position is responsible for consultation pertaining to HR practices and policies for assigned groups. The responsibilities include consultation of HR programs, initiatives or acting as subject matter expert for HR with the intent to ensure maximum effectiveness of the Human Resources function.

Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and seven (7) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eleven (11) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
• Must be Common Access Card (CAC) eligible or have the ability to become CAC eligible.
• Work experience with projects under the LOGCAP/AFCAP contract programs.
• Problem solving, communication, judgment, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to provide analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to be discreet with confidential company and employee information
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Mobility and international labor law experience.

Nice To Haves

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in HR, Psychology, Education, Business, Finance or related field, with significant experience in Human Resources.
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, or applicable HR accreditation.
• Problem solving, communication, judgment, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to provide analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Administer applicable Human Resource Policies and Procedures in partnership with HR Management.
• Experience working with employees assigned to government/military project locations both CONUS and OCONUS.
• Interface with groups inside and outside the organization (other Human Resource departments, Strategic Business Units (SBUs), projects, vendors).
• Communicate and work collaboratively within the context of a globally diverse environment.
• At the direction and guidance of HR Management may support on site management in employee relation issues and discipline practice.
• Assist with coordination and/or resolution to ongoing employees issues that require corporate office support.
• In partnering with Site Management, you will be required to contribute in providing employee relations for employees and management to ensure high morale and performance.
• Provide support to active employees which includes benefits, company focused policies i.e. safety, security, timekeeping, payroll, travel expenses, etc.
• Participate in ongoing HR improvement initiatives.
• Maintain close working relationships with discipline management to ensure that services are properly executed and the needs of the company are met.
• Maintain HR files as needed.
• Work closely with the corporate office in resolving benefits, payroll and other issues that may come up.
• Support multiple domestic and international project sites.
• Support proposal efforts, as needed.
