About The Position

We’re seeking a Senior HR Specialist to lead benefits administration and leave management for our Acton-based manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives on accuracy, compliance, and employee support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience with a focus on benefits and leave administration
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, PFML, ADA, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with HRIS systems (UKG preferred)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; HR certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness)
  • Serve as the primary contact for benefits inquiries, issue resolution, and vendor communication
  • Manage leave programs including FMLA, PFML, ADA, STD/LTD, and workers’ compensation
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and plan-level requirements
  • Conduct new hire benefits onboarding and support HRIS enrollment (UKG)
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data and generate reports for audits and renewals
  • Support annual open enrollment and benefits audits
  • Assist with training program administration and recordkeeping
