Senior HR Business Partner
About The Position
Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for employee relations and strategic guidance? The University of Oklahoma is seeking a dedicated Senior HR Business Partner to support our Tulsa OU Campus. In this role, you will balance daily HR transactional activities with providing strategic coaching and guidance to faculty and staff. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 36 months of professional HR experience in Employee Relations or related field.
Nice To Haves
- 60 months of progressive HR work experience
- Previous OU experience, particularly in Human Resources
- Previous experience directly related to positive discipline (i.e., performance management), coaching, and mentoring
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or Cornerstone
Responsibilities
- Serves as a trusted advisor, strategic partner, and subject matter expert at the University in the areas of employee relations, performance management, positive discipline issues, and workplace disputes.
- Provides confidential support to management and staff, working closely with Legal Counsel and key stakeholders in guiding appropriate courses of action and identifying and mitigating potential risk.
- Performs HR outreach visits to departments for on-site problem-solving.
- Provides internal customer service to HR staff for policy guidance and overlapping situations.
