About The Position

Trident Seafoods is the largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company in North America. Trident is a privately held, 100 percent USA-owned company with primary seafood processing operations and fleet support in twelve Alaska communities. Trident's global operations produce finished wild Alaska seafood products in 6 countries and its sales teams serve customers in over 50 countries. Trident employs approximately 9,000 people worldwide each year and partners with over 5,400 independent fishermen and crewmembers. Species harvested and processed by Trident include virtually every commercial species of salmon, whitefish, and crab harvested in the North Pacific and Alaska. The global supply chain also includes cultured and wild species from a network of trusted sources worldwide. Summary: The Senior HR Analyst will drive data-driven decision-making across the HR function by partnering closely with the BI Analyst team. In this role, you will validate existing HR data, proactively identify emerging opportunities, and leverage workforce data to generate insights. This position is instrumental in developing innovative dashboards, periodic audit reports, and AI Agents to deliver timely insights and drive process enhancements that uncover opportunities within the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ of experience working in reporting, data and analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working in HR.
  • Experience with core HR information systems, including applicant tracking and onboarding, workforce management (timekeeping), entitlements, learning management and performance management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Power BI, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel, including formulas such as XLOOKUPS, pivot tables, charts, add-ins and data analysis functions).

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, business, information technology, information systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications and continuing education preferred.
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce preferred.
  • Knowledge of FLSA, Wage and Hour regulations, Equal Pay Act, and other applicable regulatory federal and state laws.
  • Familiarity with report writing tools.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving, mathematical, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities and deliver effectively on ad hoc requests.
  • Strong process mapping, and procedural documentation skills.
  • A strong understanding of computer systems and web services technology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a critical liaison between HR and the BI team by partnering to validate and enhance HR data quality-ensuring all metrics and KPIs are accurate and actionable-and developing robust dashboards and analytical insights that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Leverage HR data-including performance review details and LMS metrics-to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate in designing and maintaining dynamic, interactive dashboards with drill-down capabilities to monitor critical HR metrics.
  • Develop periodic audit reports that flag time-sensitive data issues impacting benefits, pay, and overall audit integrity.
  • Spearhead the development of AI Agents across the HR function to provide quick, intelligent reasoning and support.
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the organization's Large Language Models (LLM's) by integrating HR-specific insights and use cases.
  • Proactively identify additional dashboard opportunities and develop new perspectives that drive forward-thinking HR strategies.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to HR data collection, processing, and reporting workflows.
  • Establish automated checks and regular audits to preemptively identify data discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal standards.
