About The Position

The Senior HR Systems Analyst will be a primary partner with the People Team to implement system solutions for various business initiatives and provide technical oversight on day-to-day operational functions of Workday HR System. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director, People Systems and Technology. This role requires your presence in Etsy’s Brooklyn Office once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. Requirements

  • 3+ years of Workday HCM configuration experience.
  • Focused expertise in one of the following Workday functional areas: Recruitment, Advanced Compensation, Talent Optimization.
  • Knowledge in Advanced Compensation should include but not limited to merit, bonus and stock plan configuration.
  • Initiation and administration of a compensation review process.
  • Experience with configuring custom reports, and calculated field configuration for reports and dashboard.
  • Proven foundational skills in business process framework, security, report writer, EIB, and simple integrations.
  • Consistent track record of successfully supporting HRIS projects and system implementations.
  • Solid grasp of HR processes, HRIS administration, and HR technology best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional HRIS workgroups.
  • Intermediate to Advanced spreadsheet (Excel and Google Sheets) and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and ongoing performance of the Workday HCM system.
  • Monitor system performance, resolving system & reporting issues, and ensuring HR technology solutions are meeting business objectives.
  • Lead design discussions to define user requirements and translate them to workable solutions, advising business users on best practices and downstream dependencies.
  • Continuously analyzing processes and configuration setup to recommend changes that will increase both quality and efficiency.
  • Supporting deployment and testing of changes from scheduled Workday Feature Releases.
  • Building and maintaining custom reports and dashboards.
  • Providing hands-on troubleshooting support to employees and HR users in completing transactions and building/updating back-end configurations.
  • Supporting SOX Audit requests, as they relate to Workday HCM.
  • Creative problem solver and love helping users model ideas into real plans.
