About The Position

Lead end-to-end hardware development of complex processor-based boards from requirements definition through schematic, layout guidance, bring-up, validation, and production release. Architect and design high-performance CPU boards incorporating DDR4, DDR5, or LPDDR5 memory subsystems. Design and implement high-speed interfaces including PCIe Gen4 and USB 3.2 Gen2. Own hardware bring-up, deep debug, signal integrity validation, and root-cause analysis at board and system level. Define hardware architecture, memory topology, power sequencing, and high-speed routing constraints. Drive design reviews (PDR, CDR, and others) and take technical ownership of critical design decisions. Work closely with layout engineers to ensure proper high-speed design practices (impedance control, length matching, stack-up definition, SI/PI considerations). Collaborate with Firmware, BIOS, Software, Validation, and Manufacturing teams to ensure robust system integration. Manage component selection, lifecycle considerations, and mitigation plans for EOL components. Mentor junior engineers and provide strong technical leadership within the hardware team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in hardware board design
  • Proven experience developing processor-based boards (x86 and/or ARM platforms)
  • Direct experience designing memory subsystems with DDR4, DDR5, or LPDDR5
  • Strong experience with high-speed interfaces including PCIe Gen4 and USB 3.2 Gen2
  • Extensive experience in board bring-up, debugging, and system-level validation
