As an Senior Hardware Engineer a typical day might include the following: Invents, analyzes and designs highly complex and innovative analog and digital systems to meet specifications. Leads hardware design reviews to demonstrate product and circuit robustness. Leads in the development of hardware and system level specifications of products for highly complex applications. Writes and reviews complex test plans, executes or supervises testing, evaluates and reviews test results for use in peer reviews and for project notebooks. Prepares and maintains detailed labor estimates and accurate project or program plans, as required. Leads large projects of high technical complexity. Participates in the executive project review processes. Leads engineers, associate engineers and technicians in the product development processes. Mentors and coach other engineers. Participates in industry technical meetings, seminars and conferences. Pay Range Data: We anticipate filling this position as a Senior Hardware Engineer with the pay range of $160,000 - $235,000 annually. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
