As our Senior GTM Recruiter, you'll own end-to-end hiring across Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success. You'll partner directly with GTM leaders, the Head of Talent, and the Head of People to understand what "great" actually looks like for each role, source candidates who wouldn't respond to a generic InMail, and run a process that reflects the quality we hold ourselves to as a company. You'll also help build the recruiting infrastructure — sourcing workflows, candidate experience, and hiring manager enablement — that enables scale without losing precision. Our GTM hires are high-impact and require strong judgement — one great Account Executive matters more than ten mediocre ones. If you've spent your career filling seats on a quota, this may not be the right role for you. We often look for non-traditional candidates, and seek excellence and uniqueness. Promise is not your typical B2B SaaS company and we do not hire like one. Come with your experience, but be prepared to get creative, learn as you go, and adapt.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 4 years spent on GTM roles in enterprise software, or regulated industries
  • A proven ability to source and close passive candidates for senior, hard-to-fill roles — not just manage inbound pipelines
  • Ability to understand a dynamic and atypical business environment – strategies can shift, so be prepared to keep up
  • Hands-on experience with modern recruiting tooling — an ATS (Ashby experience a plus), and sourcing automation tools like Gem or Clay
  • Strong hiring manager partnership skills — you know how to push back on a brief that won't produce the right outcome, and you earn trust by being direct and delivering
  • Exceptional written communication — your InMails, JDs, and candidate-facing materials are clear, specific, and worth reading
  • Comfort operating in a lean, high-ownership environment where you're building process alongside executing it
  • Genuine connection to the mission — you want to recruit for a company whose work you believe in, not just one that pays well

Responsibilities

  • Run clear, high-quality hiring processes for Pre-Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success — from kick-off through offer acceptance
  • Partner with hiring managers early to build a clear, shared picture of what success looks like in the role, what profile fits, and where to look for them
  • Move quickly without cutting corners: maintain candidate momentum and a process that reflects Promise's seriousness as an employer
  • Own the offer process including compensation benchmarking, structuring, and negotiation — in partnership with the Head of Talent and the People team
  • Build targeted sourcing strategies for each role — identifying the right companies, career trajectories, and signals that predict success at Promise
  • Craft outreach that earns a response: personalized, specific, and compelling enough to pull someone out of a job they're happy in
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for recurring GTM roles so we're never starting from zero when a seat opens
  • Leverage our tool stack to build scalable sourcing workflows that don't sacrifice quality for speed
  • Maintain data hygiene in Ashby (our ATS) so pipeline visibility is accurate and leadership can trust what they're seeing
  • Be a genuine ambassador for the mission — able to speak credibly about why Promise exists, what makes the work hard and meaningful, and what the team is actually like
  • Ensure every candidate — hired or not — walks away with a clear, positive sense of who Promise is
  • Partner with the People team and leadership on employer brand initiatives, including talent community building and presence at key professional networks in govtech, utilities, and civic tech
