About The Position

We are seeking a Senior General Ledger (GL) Accountant to support our U.S. entities and play a key role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, and audit readiness. This individual will contribute to building and improving accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while partnering cross-functionally to support business initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys both executing core accounting responsibilities and driving process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in SaaS, technology, or a high-growth environment
• Experience supporting month-end close and general ledger accounting processes
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle or similar) and reconciliation tools
• Experience working with external auditors and supporting audit processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Big 4 public accounting experience
• CPA or Master’s degree in Accounting
• Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth company
• Exposure to financial due diligence, M&A, or Quality of Earnings processes

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities for U.S. entities, including journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations
• Partner with Accounts Payable, FP&A, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues proactively
• Support monthly balance sheet reviews and provide clear variance analysis to leadership
• Maintain well-documented, audit-ready support for all accounting entries and processes
• Partner with external auditors to support audits, PBC requests, and process walkthroughs
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
• Support broader business initiatives by providing financial insight and accounting expertise
• Leverage ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and reconciliation tools (e.g., Blackline) to improve reporting and visibility
