We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our growing finance team in Littleton. This is a critical role responsible for working closely with the CFO to ensure the integrity of our financial records, from daily transaction coding to high-level month-end and year-end closing processes, alongside being a key partner in modernizing workflows and digitizing the finance functions. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or greater in Accounting (Required).
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build financial models or automate recurring reporting.
Solid understanding of GAAP, accrual-based accounting, and financial reporting standards.
An eagle eye for detail—you spot a reconciliation error before it becomes a headache.
The ability to translate complex financial data into clear reports for management.

Responsibilities

Manage all daily credits, debits, and journal entries.
Ensure accurate posting for accruals and deferrals.
Perform full general ledger and bank reconciliations.
Oversee cash entries, receipts, and disbursements.
Prepare monthly management reports and assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements.
Handle Sales & Use Tax filings and Ad Valorem (property tax) assessments across multiple jurisdictions.
Calculate and verify commission structures to ensure accurate and timely payouts.
Lead the Month-End and Year-End close processes, ensuring all accounts are balanced and deadlines are met.
