About The Position

We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our core product engineering team. In this role, you'll architect and build the technologies that power our accessibility platform, working across the full stack with a focus on creating elegant, performant solutions. Technical Split: 60% Frontend / 40% Backend

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience building production applications with React
3+ years of technical leadership experience, including oversight of code quality, performance, system uptime, and implementation strategy
Strong full stack capabilities with Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, and modern CSS
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts, solutions, and strategies through both written documentation and verbal presentations
Passion for accessibility and commitment to building inclusive technology

Nice To Haves

Experience working with AI/ML applications or integrating AI-powered features
Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA)
Contributions to open source projects
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain features for our flagship accessibility platform
Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using React and modern CSS
Develop scalable backend services with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Docker
Champion best practices in code quality, security, and performance optimization
Work within a focused team of 3-4 engineers, collaborating from strategy through implementation
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high standards for quality, security, and maintainability
Author and review technical proposals and architectural documentation
Mentor team members and contribute to the growth of engineering excellence
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Collaborate with Product teams on roadmap planning, bug triage, and feature prioritization
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to ensure seamless customer integrations
Contribute to technical interviewing and team building efforts
