About The Position

Senior Full Stack Engineer You will be part of AI Solutions Engineering & Applications team responsible for building and supporting next-generation conversational experiences for Fidelity customers and associates. AISEA leverages cloud-native technologies and modern full-stack frameworks to deliver intuitive, scalable, and secure solutions. As part of the team, you will help create highly engaging experiences that enable associates to work smarter and interact with Fidelity customers in increasingly human ways. As customer and associate interactions evolve, expectations are shaped by best-in-class digital experiences. The AISEA team is focused on enabling these experiences through conversational AI, automation, and cloud-native solutions. Your role will be critical in designing and delivering full-stack capabilities that power these interactions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. AISEA is a key component of Fidelity’s strategy to enhance associate productivity and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your contributions will accelerate innovation, improve operational efficiency, and enable personalized, conversational interactions that set Fidelity apart.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Node.js and Python for backend development
• Proficiency in Angular or similar front-end frameworks
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, etc.)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and working with JSON/Swagger documentation
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., SNS/SQS, Kafka)
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and aptitude for learning new technologies
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and architectural strategies
• Hands-on coding skills to deliver polyglot solutions across front-end and back-end stacks
• Effective collaboration with technology and business partners
• Ability to mentor and guide less experienced developers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and modern web technologies

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of AI/LLM integration is a plus
