About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to work from our Overland Park, KS office. This role will provide legal entity level financial & accounting analysis across a complex and rapidly growing legal entity structure. WHAT YOU WILL DO Review legal entity financial results and reporting Manage intercompany allocations, including labor allocations, across legal entities Assist with the development and maintenance of management financial reporting. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Coordinate with peers in the budgeting and forecasting department to analyze and prepare variance reporting. Provide support for the annual internal and external audits. Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders. Assist on special projects, including accounting for significant transactions. Responsible for supporting management initiatives including process standardization and simplification, financial analysis and research, and reporting WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting. Two or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS CPA Three or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas. Experience in public accounting at a Big 4 firm. MBA, or graduate finance related degree. Workday or other large ERP systems experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization. A strategic thinker with an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial processes. Professional agility. Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with automated accounting systems. Must have the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization. Demonstrate willingness to partner across internal departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting.
  • Two or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas.
