Position Overview: The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst plays a key role in the preparation, review and analysis of internal and external financial reports, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements. This role leads significant portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting processes. The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst works cross functionally with Accounting, FP&A, external auditors, and internal stakeholders, and contributes to continuous improvement of reporting processes and controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, related field, and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • 3+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience, including internship experience, preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and external financial reporting requirements.
  • Skilled at working independently, prioritizing work, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Own the preparation of monthly and quarterly compliance reports to banks, lenders, and regulators, including covenant calculations and supporting documentation.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits; prepare audit schedules and respond to inquiries.
  • Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
