About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Senior Financial Coordinator. This role can be located out of Warrendale, PA or Greenwood, SC. The Switchgear Modernization product line within Eaton’s Engineering Service & Systems Division is seeking a Financial Coordinator. This team provides advanced solutions for customers aiming to upgrade their existing low voltage and medium voltage equipment, enhancing reliability and safety. The product line comprises four primary offerings—Standard Products, Custom Solutions, Reconditioning Services, and InsulGard—and operates from six key locations across the United States. The Senior Financial Coordinator plays an integral role in the ongoing success of the Switchgear Modernization product line. The incumbent will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including divisional finance teams, product line leaders, coordinators, and DOCs, to maintain accurate financial records across all activity centers.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent military experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in cost accounting and general business practices.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship, both currently and in the future.
  • No relocation assistance is available; only applicants residing within a 50-mile radius of the specified job location will be considered. Active duty military candidates are exempt from this requirement.
  • Advanced computer proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, or Engineering.
  • Familiarity with power distribution, control products, Switchgear Modernization offerings, operational procedures, employee relations, and quality programs.
  • Proficiency in MAPICS and Eaton financial tools.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare backlog liquidation files for each Switchgear Modernization product offering.
  • Partner with product line leaders to develop monthly sales forecasts and monitor trade and interunit sales performance.
  • Provide back-up support to product line coordinators as needed on invoicing, purchase order issuance, project scheduling, and backlog management activities.
  • Verify the application of correct product codes in DOC orders pertaining to Switchgear Modernization projects.
  • Create Order Entry, FRAME, and Eye-chart files for each product offering.
  • Calculate CONC and Flex Productivity metrics for the High 5 Dashboard.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports as required by Switchgear Modernization leadership.
  • Validate cost savings, E&O inventory reviews, and post-close margin assessments.
  • Execute Oracle batch uploads for InsulGard (SSV) as necessary.
  • Assist in annual physical inventory counts, absorption forecasting and calculations, non-WIP inventory transactions, and OMS validation at all operating sites.
  • Liaise with Contracts to facilitate legal reviews when necessary.
