This position works out of our Austin, TX location in the Electrophysiology Medical Device division. In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. We’re seeking an experienced, high caliber Senior Financial Analyst to join the US EP Commercial FP&A team. This role will be responsible for driving accurate sales revenue and margin forecasts, preparing monthly financial performance packages, and supporting strategic decision‑making through insights and analytics. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and experienced in building FP&A models within a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical experience.
  • Strong financial modeling skills (Excel, forecasting tools).
  • Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and key financial metrics.
  • Ability to summarize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct month end sales analysis and prepare concise variance commentary.
  • Analyze P&L performance and summarize key drivers and variances.
  • Lead balance sheet forecasting and complete actuals variance analysis.
  • Prepare LBE commercial review slides with focused analytical insights.
  • Develop and maintain rebates models, provide inputs for monthly rebate accrual.
  • Support the EP business unit with ad hoc financial and business analysis.
