About The Position

See yourself at Dataminr We are seeking an analytical, collaborative, and proactive Senior Financial Analyst to scale our support to our global Go-To-Market organization. This role is perfect for a self-starter who excels in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment and enjoys executive exposure. The ideal candidate will be adept at solving complex operational challenges by leveraging data, tools, process enhancements, and strong cross-functional partnerships. You will collaborate closely with leaders across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales Operations to manage budgets, track actual spend, and conduct strategic analysis aimed at boosting overall operational efficiency. This is a hybrid role, based in the NYC area with the expectation of period days in the office (avg 1x per week). The opportunity Drive the full financial lifecycle for the Go-To-Market (GTM) function, including owning the annual budgeting process, monthly reporting of actuals, and in-depth strategic analysis of spend Act as a key finance partner to GTM business leaders, ensuring all budget plans are strategically aligned with overall business objective Work closely with Accounting, Finance, and business leaders to synthesize vendor-level spend data, understand cost drivers, and proactively resolve financial issues Contribute to broader company-wide planning initiatives in collaboration with the wider finance team This role offers high visibility into the company's overall strategy, exposure to executive decision-making, and deep involvement in the operational engine of the business What you bring At Dataminr, we value you for who you are. Requirements

2-4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Comprehensive understanding of financial concepts and analytical methodologies
Advanced technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and financial planning software
Proven capacity for effective collaboration both within and across various teams; a strong team-player mindset is essential
Experience engaging with senior leadership in a cross-functional and agile setting
Strong ability to communicate, prioritize work, and drive excellence outcomes

Nice To Haves

familiarity with Pigment and Tableau is beneficial

Responsibilities
